Forward Katie Bethke has inked a deal with Bundesliga site Bayer Leverkusen for the remainder of the season. The last placed team is looking for some offensive strength to stay in the league. Bethke played for Atlanta Beat in WPS after finishing her collegiate career, and is coming off a successful stint with Arna Bjornar in Norway where she scored six goals in eleven games.

Irish NT defender Diane Caldwell joins Norwegian division 1 site Avaldsnes IL for the 2012 season. Caldwell played in Iceland for Thor/KA before.

Australian creative mid Leah Blayney, who had to sit out the season in Australia, joins Eskilstuna United in Swedish div 1 for the 2012 season.
