English NT keeper Karen Bardsley decided on her future prior to the last qualifying game with England against Serbia. The California native will stay in Sweden and extended her contract with Linkoping FC by one year. The tall goalkeeper served as backup at her first stint and played the last three games of the season, in which she only allowed one goal and fully convinced. The new contract will see an open goalkeeper situation. Prior to playing in Sweden, Bardsley played for Sky Blue in the American pro league for three seasons.
