Bundesliga Weekend

In German Bundesliga all teams with CWF players suffered losses in the relegation fight.

Tennis Borussia Berlin suffered another loss at Bayern Munich. Until half time they kept a close 0-1, allowed the second straight after half time. The gates were opened when Aylin Yaren was red carded, Munich quickly added three goals for a 5-0 win. Amanda Feigt and Katarina Tarr both played full 90 minutes in this game.

Emily Zurrer and SG Essen-Schönebeck lost 0-3 at VfL Wolfsburg. World Champion Martina Müller scored a pair of goals – one in the beginning, one at the end of the game. Zurrer went full 90

Also SC Freiburg suffered a 0-2 loss against Hamburger SV in a game which was supposed to be a solvable task. With Kelly Parker, Mele French and Michelle Wenino in the starting lineup, Hamburg caught the better start and scored the early lead by Ana Maria Crnogorcevic. The Swiss International added a second goal after half an hour. Parker was substituted before halftime due to injury, French picked up a yellow

During the week Berlin will have a postponed game against Turbine Potsdam, a local derby in which everything but a clear loss would be a surprise. If Berlin doesn’t collect at least one point they are relegated.

In 2.Bundesliga TSV Crailsheim finally got back to the winning side of the life with a 2-0 road win at SC Sand. Jeannette Dyer scored the lead with a penalty kick after 14 minutes. She secured the central defense together with Allison Scurich. Crailsheim ranks 4 and will finish the season between 3rd and 5th place.
