Forward Katie Bethke has inked a deal with Bundesliga site Bayer Leverkusen for the remainder of the season. The last placed team is looking for some offensive strength to stay in the league. Bethke played for Atlanta Beat in WPS after finishing her collegiate career, and is coming off a successful stint with Arna Bjornar in Norway where she scored six goals in eleven games.

Bayern Munich reacted after a disappointing first season half and added two CWF players to the roster for the remainder of the 2011/12 campaign. Defender Niki Cross, American with German passport, already tried out with the club in November and convinced the officials. After a successful first year in Europe, Janelle Cordia has decided to stay another season with Finnish top league team Aland United. The wing player had a very good rookie campaign in Naisten Liiga, played and started in 26 games and scored 5 goals. After rank 4 in the first season she is now aiming on higher aims with her club.
